Senior Cleric Confident about Victory of Islam
TEHRAN (FNA)- Tehran's provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Mohammad Emami Kashani expressed confidence about the victory of Islam, and called for unity among Muslims.

"The future is that of Islam and it will overtake the world," Ayatollah Emami Kashani said, addressing a large and fervent congregation of people on Tehran University campus on Friday.

Ayatollah Emami Kashani called on Muslim leaders to put aside their differences and unite against the enemies.

Elsewhere, he warned against division between the country's religious and political groups, stressing the significance of solidarity among Muslims.

"The difference in human society must be limited to certain factors such as race, language, countries and borders and everyone must be united in action and ideology," Ayatollah Kashani reiterated.

Ayatollah Kashani warned against bickering and conflict among politicians and religious leaders, saying it will only harm the nation.

The cleric further hailed the recent trip by Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei to the holy city of Qom as having had "valuable effects for the seminary and people all over the country."

The Iranian Supreme Leader paid a 9-day visit to Qom in October. Upon arrival, he was extended an astonishingly warm welcome by tens of thousands people who had been waiting for him for days.

Analysts believe that the wide public welcome broadcast live on Iran's state-run TV signifies the highest rate of the Iranian Leader's popularity among the masses of the people from all the different walks of life, and proves the nation's strong relationship and support for the Islamic establishment, insuring the country against possible enemy invasion.
